Hi there! Welcome to My Barefoot Homestead, our little corner of the earth that is full of chaos, love, Jesus, and dirty feet. This website and blog is a culmination of all of that and then some. You may find yourself at home here - relating to the things I write, feeling like you're understood and not alone, or you may just simply be intrigued by the way we live, love and raise our family. Either way, what I want you to know is we live in a world where comparison robs us of pure joy and connection with one another, so no matter your reason for being on this page right now, just know I'm a mess too. You may see pretty pictures, but the words that follow hold more truth than a beautifully curated photograph. Leave here knowing that we're all trying to do what is best for our families, in our own set of circumstances, and that we're all in need of our Savior's grace to get us through each day as we learn to live for Him by living more simply, slowly, and intentionally - letting go of our need to control everything and letting go of our need to get it all right, all of the time.
